Hyper Plan - interesting feature

I’ve looked at Hyper Plan in the past, thought it was cool, but didn’t quite click the buy button.
This morning I downloaded the free trial and discovered something that I should have realized.
Hyper Plan will present charts and index cards in different forms. What I didn’t quite catch is that the data is independent of the display. You can display a given data set in any number of ways, and you can save each of those variations. Click, it’s a timeline, click, it’s a Kanban board, click, it’s a SWOT chart, and so on.
Of course, some chart types require different properties to work off of, but since none of the charts are hardwired to particular variables, you can add whatever properties you need to support multiple charts.
As a software engineer, I’m particularly excited with delivery timelines. By using multiple delivery date fields, I can have one timeline display called “for the customer - real soon now”. Another timeline, keying off a different delivery date, could be ‘for management - what they wanted to hear.”
And I could still have the all important internal department timeline, keyed off a third delivery date, “expectations - how do we talk our way out of this?”
I’m a professional. I need that kind of power.
I should also note that when I saw something that I didn’t understand, I got immediate response by email from Andy Brice. Nice guy!
