See the announcement:
https://blog.dynalist.io/2020-june-update/
It doesn’t seem to be working as expected for me, but I’m sure they’ll iron out the bugs soon…

Seems to have changed a little since that blog post – the backlinks do appear, but instead of listing them at the bottom of the page (quite real-estate-intensive), they appear as a number next to the title of the item the link refers to; if you click on the number, you get a list of backlinks.
Quite a neat feature! I prefer Notebag’s listing of backlinks, but all backlinking is good.

Quite interesting as Dynalist is a serious corporation with full time coders power behind it.
Also has numerous users and much less chance it will suddenly disappear or become abandonware.
The main problem as ever is investing one’s long term time plus data structures to an app that will vanish. But Dynalist is fairly a safe bet.
I wish Orgzly (for android), would follow suit and include back-links. I think they might, but might be a year or two.
Orgzly is open source (and free) and will not disappear either as is popular and other coders will join, in case one drops out for personal reasons.
But first we have to see how Dynalist develops this and how Workflowy respponds.
The ball is in Workflowy’s out now.
