EssentialPIM is my favorite out there right now for a Daytimer like PIM that syncs with Android. It has all the modules I need. It gets updated often. They’ve worked out a lot of bugs and added a lot of features in the last few years. I have a lifetime sub that I bought around 10 years ago. The developer responds quickly to questions or bugs and fixes them fast.
There’s an Android app that gets updated also, and it’s getting better all the time. You can sync Android App with Computer easily but can’t do it through the cloud. But it does sync to Google also with all Modules so you can set you’re Android App to sync to Google also so you have sort of real time syncing. You do lose some options with that but it works good for general use.
Plus you don’t pay for a subscription like some others.

Of all the apps listed, I’ve olny tried MyLifeOrganized and Chaos Control.
Both are more Todo lists/GTD apps than PIM apps “Stricto sensu”...
MLO seens to work very well as an general purpose Outliner (as OmniFoucs does too)

Pimlical is a calendar on steroids. It’s very powerful (Palm enthusiasts will recall DateBk6, the best calendar app ever made. It’s the same developer).
However, I only use it to back up my Google Calendar account once a month. I wish for a parallel world where I could use Pimlical daily instead, but having an online calendar is just far too convenient.

P.S. I should have added that I was commenting on the Windows client. I use it to save a local copy of Google Cal.
