Current v6 owners can contact him to upgrade to v7 for a week or two now. He’s making a new website for v7 he says, once done it’ll be launched officially.

Petko, as usual, is moving very slowly. MyInfo version 7 has still not been released to the general public (only current subscribers). I have been looking at it carefully, and it seems promising, but there are still bugs. The odd thing is that there is a new release every few days. It seems to me that Petko is treating the version for subscribers as, in effect, another beta.

I know this is beating a dead horse, but any word on version 7? Version 6 was released almost a decade ago. People have been talking about the “imminent” release of Version 7 since WSP wrote this on 1-21-2014:
“I’m rather late in spotting this, but I’ve just noticed that when MyInfo was on sale on BitsDuJour in December, Petko offered a few interesting details about version 7 of MyInfo, which he says will be released this year.“ .... Yes, that was 2014 - and it is still not available to the public. I like MyInfo but have always been scared off by Petko’s very, very, v e r y, slow work, and the promises rarely kept. If he does that with release dates…you get the idea. All while asking $100 for his software. With all that said, does anyone know what’s going on with MyInfo? I know, it’s easy to criticize, but waiting (what will be seven years in just two months) so long after a promised new version seems like something that legitimately deserves criticism. But I’m still curious about V7. I know some of you have used it, but what about the general public?

It is a great app, sadly one I no longer use because Mac, but I’d be very pleased to see it on macOS.
Perhaps he was unusually prescient and has simply been awaiting the perfect moment (so he could create a universal app for macOS/iOS alongside the Windows one)?
Or not, of course… ;-)
