I feel much the same, Alexander. It feels as if everything is happening much faster, but are not yet able to handle the problems of that increased speed. And I would also like to thank Chris for all that he has done over the years (although I do not believe that we have ever confirmed that Chris is a “he”, as that name is often used by women as well as men)! I stay away from most social media and only participate in a handful of forums where the discussions are friendly, civil and useful, and this is one of them. Thank you again, everybody, and here is to a happy and healthy new year and decade!

A wonderful, interesting, productive and peaceful New Year to all.
And may I add my thanks to Chris for his steadfast support and thoughtful interventions.
Best wishes to all,
Bill

Thanks everyone, and best wishes to you, too! I enjoy maintaining this forum; of course, I enjoy reading it even more.
I don’t want to over-promise, but I plan to redesign and rewrite the site this year. It’s getting a bit long in the tooth.
Thanks,
Chris

Thank you, Chris.
This site is comfortable, workable, and is just fine the way it is, IMO. I know early this year (?) there was chat about added features, but the focused design here is really quite good and lets the dialog get the attention.

The visual redesign won’t be too drastic - it’s mostly to make everything work better on mobile. I prefer the minimalist look myself, and like having the content be the main point. I do want to provide a better editing experience - with some formatting and image uploads supported, for example.
