I just discovered a new version of UR that was announced at the end of September. No discussion on this forum about the new version? Wow, am I out of it. I still use the software and from what I recall it was the go-to outliner for several crimpers. What has replaced it? I looked at the new features and I am underwhelmed

I replaced it myself with MyInfo and also use NoteCase Pro.
I tried out UR6 and the only thing useful for me was the Web clippers that now work but not enough for me to upgrade. I need something that imports/exports notes with photos, etc. and UR didn't work as I needed it too where MyInfo or NCP it works flawlessly and easily.

I barely remember that from my MS DOS years. Didn't it start off as square notes that would populate the deskttop, and as you typed a search they would disappear down to what you were searching for? If it is, I loved the first version of that. Later versions just seemed like folding text to me.

Ah, i think the program I remember was Info Select.

The original DOS version with the flurry of notes was Tornado Notes, that evolved into the Windows Info Select.

Yes, and I so much liked it better when it was like Tornado Notes!
