Not sure about a ResophNotes clone that handles rich text, though, I must say, it would be pretty cool.

My go to solution—TreePad—is dead and unavailable for new users but the open-source Cherry Tree is still available.
IMO, it’s not nearly as good as TreePad but it has the same features, including rich text. Not sure about alarms, though. TP has them but it’s been awhile since I’ve used CT so maybe they added it.
