Over the years, I have been really enjoying this little app but I'm starting to struggle more with its limited formatting features.
Having image and table support similar to RichViewEditor (http://bauerapps.com/files/RichViewEditor.zip ) as well as alarm reminders would be ideal.
If you have spotted something similar, I would love to hear about it.

CintaNotes has much to offer -- powerful yet uncomplicated -- but unfortunately it doesn't handle images very well. The developer, Alex Jenter, reports that he is working on an improved version.
No table support, unfortunately. Just very good with text.

As you already know Bauerapps.com: Why not use their Rightnote app?

Very likely I'm missing the point, but what about OneNote? The interface can be skinnied down to not much.

It seems that MyInfo uses RichViewEditor, so why not try it?

Not sure about a ResophNotes clone that handles rich text, though, I must say, it would be pretty cool.
Maybe Rightnote free edition
https://www.bauerapps.com/downloads/
Or
Cherrytree

My go to solution -- TreePad -- is dead and unavailable for new users but the open-source Cherry Tree is still available.
IMO, it's not nearly as good as TreePad but it has the same features, including rich text. Not sure about alarms, though. TP has them but it's been awhile since I've used CT so maybe they added it.
