Note: Citavi is Windows only. (The Mac installation instructions tells you to install a Windows virtual machine…)

Thanks @satis for this update. I played around with Papers today and liked it so much that I signed up for the year!
I have been using Bookends, but it is really in need for an overhaul of its user interface. Papers, in comparison, has a clean interface and is much more intuitive. I loved the way it handles annotation and was surprised that it is detected the references in a paper and listed them for import into Papers!
