An interesting, if motley assortment. Article misspelled Joplin, which resulted in the question here about 'Joblin.'
And these apps don't really do folding or outlining.
The first app listed, Typora, is a really good Markdown editor for macOS but it's been a version 0.9x for literally years, constantly incrementing without reaching v1.0 (which the developers have stated will be when they start charging for it.) But there are so many Markdown apps these days, including syncable ones like FSNotes, which is an open-source project with apps in the MAS and the iOS App Store, for pretty cheap. (Or you could build your own from Github.)

CherryTree is a remarkably good outliner; (almost) as good as the (apparently) recently-departed TreePad.
Generalizations and hate like yours are not unusual on social media but they ARE (fairly) unusual for this site. Don't make it a thing here because civility is one of the reasons that I like this place.

Generalizations? I gave my opinion, pointed out an article error, and commented on one app mentioned.
"Hate"? Oh please. Get real.

Where's the "hate"? A robust expression/exchange of views shall not be dimmed by manufactured outrage or calls for censorship.

Yeah, weird reaction Listerene...
Anyway - micropad (μPad) looks seriously cool. Anyone have experience with the app?

Micropad, as of August 2019, has one of the nicest embedded PDF features I have ever seen--it's resizable. If I could just figure out how to move the local files so that I could use it with syncthing, I might be able to make use of Micropad. Has anyone seen any other note taking apps that have this embeddable + resizable PDF function?
