Russian company? Seems to be, from reading the "About" page.

Here's the missing link:

http://www.bitsdujour.com/software/leaderTask-Daily-Planner/in=todays-deals-home

and the missing platform designation: Windows only.

It is indeed a Russian company - but so what? Here's the owner:

Given clear interference with the American electorate on the part of Russia, and the sweeping surveillance and hacking of some Chinese companies, I'm very unlikely to install any Russian or Chinese software. If it were open source, I imagine I'd be a little more trusting. But I suspect I'm not suspicious enough. I've also removed Facebook apps from my phone.

The Russian government may have done that, but I don't think the developer of LeaderTask had any involvement, just as the majority of Russian citizens had no involvement, and so I'm not inclined to penalize the people for the actions of the powerful.

I'm with you on Facebook, though. I can't get far enough away from it.

The so what is: I am not permitted to have software made in Russia on the same device as my client's data. Not my rule. The client's.

Hmm I am not sure about that.

There are individual developers who are good. In short for example, or even the people behind set app (Ukrainian).

If the app fits your need it shouldn’t matter where the developer is from.
