Looks like the macOS version of nvUltra will be released soon? The webpage is rather polished and the feature list is pretty impressive. Love that it indexes PDFs as well.
(PS: I still use FSNotes, but lately it has been very buggy for me.)

Maybe coming soon, but that’s pretty much the same website they’ve had up for the better part of a year.
If you want the beta, apply for it. In the past it was not difficult to get accepted. Development and updates are slow but steady—but it’s clear from the comments etc. in their blogs that nvUltra is a side job for both developers. If it is not a real job for anyone, then long-term support and adaptation might be a concern.

Terpstra has been promising the app for a while. The website looks like it did last time I checked, maybe March? The app’s Twitter account last posted ‘getting close’ around a month ago.

Last March Terpstra wrote that they “had to rethink some core components, in some cases completely rewriting them to ensure that future development is smooth and bug-free…. We’ve elected to do a major reconfiguration of the underpinnings of nvUltra prior to release”
And now, almost a year later, it seems they’re getting close. Brett sent out an email today saying that they’re planning to make a free trial available in the Mac App Store with IAP, say they hope to include the app in SetApp, and he posted a link to a survey to get input on app icon colors.
Pricing to be revealed at a later date.

I’m affadi this is vaporware.
A pity, I had great hopes that finally a replacement for Notational Velocity and Nvalt would come up.
By the way, they both run fine on my M1 Macbook Air and Monterey. Amazing!
