Dynalist on iOS actually working?

I had almost written a post last week saying “all I want for 2019 is for Dynalist to finally work on iOS” but I deleted it. I just didn’t think it was realistic. Yet, here we are. Dynalist just dropped a “bug fix” update for iOS and for the first time in ages I was able to launch and use the app without it freezing on me. This is fantastic. If this fix isn’t undone with the next update (as happened to me before!) then I can really start using Dynalist the way I’d like to…. I’m a little too nervous to outright declare “mission accomplished” but I’m hopeful!

Update: So it is working well ... most of the time. I’ve had one freeze/crash since I started using it again, but mostly it is working much better now.

So the crashing/freezing that is still happening on iOS seems to be date related. It only happens on the first launch of a new day, and goes away for the rest of the day after force-quitting/restarting the app. Hopefully will be addressed soon…

Just saw that there’s a sporadically active thread on the Dynalist forum about this.

So the latest update Dynalist 1.3.1 seems to fix the remaining issues that were still causing it to freeze on launch. I say “seems” because I keep announcing that the problem is fixed only to find that there are still problems ... but I think this time it might be for real. (Fingers crossed.)
