While trying to think of outliners with columns, I remembered Neo, and app with lots of possibilities but an inscrutable user interface. The last I recalled, the D-Lit website was gone and the app had disappeared from the App Store. A quick google search brought up a working website, and a visit to the App Store had it still present. I don't think there has been any work on it (the copyright had 2016 as the most recent year). It would still be a pretty good app if it had better documentation and a less obtuse user interface.

The App Store says there was an update 1 year ago -- it seems to get a minor update about once a year. Needs another one. It is working, but has a lot of interface glitches on Mojave.

That was the kind of feedback I was looking for. I won't delete it from my computer as it seems that it may still have some life left if maintained. I did delete Tree Outliner from my computer, though.
