The answer to this question, in case other people than me are interested, is that vDos allows accents but not vDosPlus.

The catch running GV with vDos is that the window is rectangular, so only a small portion of the outline is visible on screen. The GV doc mentions the command line option /V for displaying up to 50 lines, but I don’t see that making a difference (GrandViewForWinV1 (vDosPlus) also has a LINS parameter in the config file).

Is there a way to increase the number of lines in vDos GV?
