There's a new fairly major release of Tinderbox for Mac out today.
Core improvements seem to be more on the visualization and UI side of things, including a less clumsy (IMHO) way of editing outline items. It's not quite yet a candidate for the most Mac-like experience but some solid improvements.
If you have been put off by it's uniqueness in the past I would recommend that you give it another look.
