This could be worthwhile spending a little time with, but only if it’s real. The developers are doing themselves a great disservice by giving patchy, incomplete, ambiguous information.
Is Polywick Story for sale? How much, where, what does it run on? Is there a trial version?
What is its feature-set?
Outliners are the greatest for capturing hard information, especially if, like the old Ecco, you can cross-reference that info. If potential customers were able to download and try, this might have a great future.
Otherwise, with only patchy info, this potential customer is going to pass. I suspect most people will too.

No doubt the Polywick crew will tell us whatever they choose.
Maybe one thread on this topic is sufficient? Seeing as most of the conversation is over in the thread Polywick started?

Included is System Requirements.
The product is under heavy development and a beta will be made available.

You’re going to pass on a teaser? Because a teaser is all that Polywick has posted here. And they were clear that it was only a teaser. Despite my skepticism, and my belief that the “teaser” hurt them coming out of the gate, I’m happy to give them a chance, and I’m glad to see that they’ve posted a product page (bare-bones as it is) on their site and plan to hold a beta.
