i) It’s just facts, figures and statistics. Nigeria and Philippines are the centers of internet fraud gangs. From ransom to blackmail to investment schemes scams.
ii) You nor him are addressing any of the ACTUAL POINTS & ISSUES I raised:
1) Never mind disrespecting members here as others stated. Why he avoids most questions? Even basic questions?
2) Why he gathers emails, and in my case asks for actual name and details, and does not even reply?
3) Why he does not send the beta as he promised?
4) Why is he hiding behind an anonymous registered domain?
5) As he expects people and companies to trust their business & life (data) to his program: What are his company’s actual details?
AND MORE. I will bring up these numbered VITAL ISSUES again here if need be.
You are just diverting from these points by attacking me personally.
iii) Racist? You are, because I never thought he is a Philippino. His tone comes across as though he is an expat and since the beginning I assumed he is a westerner there. I still do.
You are also very foolish to assume my race as your started or maybe the race of my wife and children either.
So his race never occurred to me, I assumed he’s a European who settled there actually since the start as I’ve met many such. The racism only exists in your own mind.
iv) Civility? This is the timeline:
I only questioned why he disrespects those asking simple questions, as did others, and why he makes false promises while gathering people’s emails and does not do as he promised. Not even reply to them (after his phishing emails). Others pointed out this improper pattern of behavior too.
He then personally attacked me and asked for my details and legal full name.
He did not answer any of the vital questions (enumerated above) and diverted.
So you are saying all of us who thought and said here this is not proper, are idiots who themselves were not brought up properly as you put in quotes.
You did not answer any of the ACTUAL QUESTIONS about his false promises while he’s gathering personal emails and asking for personal data from me here either and you merely personally attacked me. Thanks Lucas, very logical and decent of you!
Civility? Again the problem is in your own mind and words as proven.

Not to worry, I am not attacking you personally, nor am I accusing you of anything, nor am I challenging your assertions about Polywick Story Server. I simply invited you to reflect on how your post could be interpreted and to demonstrate the civility you found lacking on Polywick’s part. This is a friendly forum, which is part of what makes it valuable. I also found Polywick’s legal threats rather absurd, so I understand where you’re coming from.

This is what you get when you post techy babble and then don’t answer questions from people genuinely interested in your software - but you sure are quick to reply to skeptics.
Your legal threats are as laughable as your vaporware. So far all you’ve created is a bad impression with some of the people on this forum. Let’s see you shoot your other foot.

No Origen and no offence taken. I can take care of myself but plenty of people who often fall victim far too easily. My motivation was/is only to point out safeguard measures. In Americas or Europe or places like Japan Taiwan Singapore etc, you can rest assured no company can get away with abuses as some do in other territories.
It’s a matter of proper legal systems in force and in which territories in case abuse takes place. I would advise anyone before installing any .exe to have details of a proper legal entity, i.e. names of Person(s) and/or Company as source prior to doing so.
