Display more notes at the same time

Hi,

would anybody know of any application that can do the following, pls?

In outline apps, it is common, when you select one note, you get its content displayed. When you select more notes, you don’t get to see their content, which is exactly what I look for.

Say, in the example screenshots taken from Ultra Recall trial…

1) One note selected, its content displayed on the right (https://mega.nz/#!ONUVCYwJ!SwkW98Xk1_FQNZ3Lr7Ivg8R2Y0CMXcZ9OTwVv8KRF1Q
2) Second note selected, its content displayed on the right (https://mega.nz/#!DINnlQCT!L0XeYzuRi1JSEKkuc4l4FweuXKOToJ_IXyIHvP5MLzs
3) Two notes selected – no content displayed, selected notes listed at the bottom (https://mega.nz/#!6IEVCYqI!YMYQzEzctBhAIoFnq5zCEE7EdZyNpX0FLX0niG-qRj4
4) What I am looking for: two (or more) notes selected, their content visible on the right. (https://mega.nz/#!jdcXiYrZ!rYp8E_kEEhi4JAER5LxX3sbEsDpwmndC5lraeKORPvo

Many thanks in advance!

No way!
:-D

So fast and it seems that I am not the only one who finds the idea useful! So cool!

Thank you very much, Alexander, for your kind help!!!

Best regards,
Karel

Also, I thought I would mention that Ultra Recall can actually show the content of multiple selected notes at once, but it's an option. Look for "Show combined text for multiple selection."

Chris is correct...and also there is a quick option to toggle it on/off...see Tools/Quick Options in the Editor: section

Another rather impressive online option is RexPad (https://www.rexpad.com which appears to be maturing nicely.

I'd love to see offline apps (desktop and mobile), myself, but it's a great proof of concept.

ConnectedText can also display many notes in their own (read-only) windows whilst working on another note.

OMG you're right! Thank you both!!!! This piece of software impresses me more and more. Almost every time I want something, I find it there (like pasting selected text into the name of the note - unbelievable). 4 more days left on my trial :-) The online manual is a b*tch though :-( Can't figure out a lot of the stuff using it. Fortunately their support replies the second day.

Best regards and many thanks,
Karel

I have noticed that one too. Not exactly what I need right now, but a very interesting app :-)

Thanks for the tip. Sadly I am looking for an offline Windows option. Without such limitation I would love to try Mac's Tinderbox more than anything else, though ;-)

Cheers :)

Just tested it. Ultra Recall can display this, but will not allow editing. Still, it is a very good thing to have. On the other hand-it could be better and more useful.

Visual Studio Code -- not just for development. Large library of extensions. Free. From Microsoft -- deep pockets and so not suffering from single-developer-itis.
