“You know, I think that if we just add a Like button, Workflowy will be poised to go public with a huge IPO!”
I am not really sure what to make of this announcement. I am happy they have some new talent and hope they can make some needed improvements, but given that programs like Dynalist have been able to already do that without all of the fanfare, I am a bit skeptical for now.

They’re making a really big deal out of this new hire and raising expectations sky high: so, if the “superhero” (really ladling it on there, Workflowy ) doesn’t deliver, and deliver quickly, it’ll backfire on them.
For me to use Workflowy again, they need to add an option for multiple documents, like DynaList has had from the get-go. I doubt this will happen.

Since Dynalist seems unable or unwilling to fix the bugs in their iOS app, I have to hope that Workflowy or Outlinely can get their act together to make a product that is good enough I can replace Dynalist…

I wonder what the usage metrics are for Dynalist iOS (or iOS outliners in general). vs Windows, Mac, and online. I imagine Dynalist knows, and that the answer determines where they spend their development capital. I don’t care at all about iOS, but if it’s the leading platform for Dynalist users, you’d think they would work on those bugs, whatever they are.
