Recently someone raised a question on the CintaNote forum: was CN still under development? And this was Alex Jenter's reply:
"Thanks for your question. I understand your concern and have to admit that the frequency of releases has dropped. This was to be expected under the circumstances. The 3.x branch has come to its limits and the need to move to a more modern UI framework was evident. However such a big move requires big sacrifices, suddenly you have to reimplement from scratch the GUI that has been developed during 5 years. And then you find out that not everything is rosy on this path, and there are many bugs and shortcomings in the new framework that you have to find workarounds for. But it is still worth it, since it will enable portability in the end, and will relieve us from the burden of maintaining the framework.
"So the answer is, yes, the development is going on, although perhaps not as fast as we'd like it to."
I thought this exchange might be of interest to some crimpers here.

I'm a big fan of CintaNotes and use it a lot with note fragments, so I'm pleased to hear that development is ongoing. Thanks.
