Jon. Can’t you install the trial version and open and export your document?

It opens as read only. Few of the menu options are available. I cannot save (of course) nor can I export. I thought I would be able to select and copy the text in the editor, but no.

You know, this is my fault. I had a sense about Sense. We always talk about the value of being able to export our work into common formats. I generally follow that advice, but not this time.

That’s probably because you installed the trial on the machine on which you had your licensed version installed.
If I were you, I’d install the trial on a second (clean = without former Sense installation) machine and open the document there.

You are right. Thank you for the suggestion. I will do that when I get home. Only issue is that if i remember, you had to install plug-ins to export to rtf, txt or html. Perhaps I can print to a pdf and export the text from there. Or copy/paste from the editor.
Still, having a license and not being able to use the program is a bit much.
Thanks again.
