Interesting iOS app: Cardflow+. Index card metaphor. Cards position on an expandable canvas. Ink, shapes, text, images on cards. Several export options.

App's been around for a few years. It actually evolved from another, older iPad app from the same developer, currently called Stickyboard 2. Original Stickyboard app came out in 2012.
On the Mac there are a couple of similar apps that are a bit more powerful in different ways. Off the top of my head there's Kardnote which uses the card and notebook metaphor for Markdown text and images (no in-app drawing though).
And The Alchemist Guild has Notecard 2 as well as it's more powerful cousin TaskCard 2: tabs, nested cards, internal hyperlinks and more. (Also no in-app drawing.)
None of these apps have been updated since last summer, I think. And none have iOS counterparts (although NoteCard/TaskCard can save & sync via Dropbox /iCloud.
