Hi,
Personally I don’t know this software, but since it’s supposed to have mind mapping abilities and all sorts of goodness (as stated by the developer - professional-looking flowcharts, org charts, network diagrams, business charts, building plans, mind maps, workflows, fashion designs, UML diagrams, electrical engineering diagrams, directional maps, program structures, database diagrams, etc.), I thought to mention this software is offered free today at the Giveaway of the Day website.

WARNING: The software that was offered yesterday and the day before by GiveawayoftheDay may have contained spyware or viruses. At least that is what several people said in the comments section. In view of this, it has been suggested that all offerings from this site be scanned for viruses and spyware AND that one review the comments section to see if anyone has reported malware. Also Google the product name to see if any reputable testing sites have reviewed the product.
I have just run Kaspersky Internet Security on Edraw Max. It found no viruses. I am currently running a spyware scan (PC Tools Spyware Doctor, free version) and will let you know the result. (I have to scan the entire hard disk using this, free version.)
I have installed several programs from GiveawayoftheDay without problem. Once before, Kaspersky warned of possible malicious activity and I stopped the installation. It may have been OK, but I didn’t chance it.

Hey, C.
Before installation, I scanned the setup files with Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and a-squared. Came clean.
Software works great under Vista Business—it looks like the bastard love child of Inspiration and MS PowerPoint.
Only thing that didn’t work—at first!—was the updater, giving me an error (XP users didn’t encounter this problem). However, after I ran the software a couple of times, Vista compatibility wizard popped up and automatically changed the installation settings. Updater works fine now. Running the program as administrator seems to solve the updater glitch as well.
