Before I look at this, I’d like to know how the data is stored. Does it create markdown files? Stuff things into SQLite? Etc? I really don’t want to lose my work.

Your pages are stored in plain text files and yes, this is markdown.
Simply, the name of the files is the name of your pages.
So, in the idea to quickly access them, i added a button in the settings allowing you to open the folder where the files are stored and, If you want, you have also a button in the settings to zip the entire folder with all the images too (the name of the archive is made from the current date + hours/min/sec) , this way you can save the zip file wherever you want, usually in the download folder or in a folder used by a cloud.
It is also possible that i add a way in the future to easily use alternative clouds like nextcloud, owncloud or Yandex (any cloud using the webdav protocol) and maybe Dropbox. I tested quickly and it works but I have to finish the mobile version first.

Ah, excellent! I was going to ask about this, actually, so thanks for clarifying. And I’m looking forward to the mobile app!
Cheers,
Bill
