I just received an email from Darren Devitt, the author of AS (and its predecessor PageFour). According to Darren, AS is now free - when it was released a few months ago, it cost $47.

Seems like the only application Darren charges money for is Smartedit - a plugin for Word or Atomic Scribbler that helps you improve your writing.

Dev is pretty in the app blog about the app not being particularly popular, and being seen as a me-too product. So I wish them well with the new business model.

But I can't help but feel the app is simply being cut loose without any more development or support; after all, it was just a few months ago that the app was introduced, after years of selling PageFour:
