Treepad updated

I notice that after a significant period of years Treepad has received two recent updates. Anyone have any info or comment on what is going on there or how treepad compares with cherrytree or notecase or similar products?

I’ve been using Treepad forever and, for me, it’s still the most useful and elegant two-pane outliner around. Sure, CherryTree is similar and free but I’ve never regretted buying TP Biz. As far as update frequency, they’ve managed not to clutter the interface with changes/additions *just* for the sake of updates; when a program is near perfection for what it does, it doesn’t need a lot of updating.
