It is free. To get the professional version just enter an email from the menu option to upgrade to professional.
Can put in a secondary email, they do not send an email. It immediately becomes the Pro version for free.
* Has Outliner tree structure on the left with nodes and sub-nodes
* Has sections for developing fiction plots, chars, etc + basic stats etc
* Has an board for index cards, free floating. Has other types of notes like Sticky etc. This is an application in itself
Has good editor functions like a word processor and other bits.
Can be used for note taking plus mind-mapping with the index card board.
He,s got a "Tour" section at top menu bar, with screenshots once you enter the site.

His settings is almost non-existent, needs auto save option in settings + open last document option. I think he is still developing it.

Sorry: quite right, I meant to put my remark about Writers Cafe here, not under Gingko. Doh!

I long time ago, I used Writer's Café. At the time, it was advanced and I liked it. I particularly liked its "swim-lane" feature (now picked up and developed further in Scrivener 3).
