Thank you! You can now transform task lists into different views: https://blog.taskade.com/2019/02/19/transform-your-task-lists/
We’ve also made the editor more flexible with multi-select to copy and delete.

I check out Taskade regularly, but while there is a lot to like it still falls short compared with the tools I currently use: 2Do, Dynalist, and Todoist. Especially:
- Lack of a dedicated notes field that isn’t lost in the comments. Dynalist does this well, including the ability to change whether you see the full note or just the first line.
- No way to elegantly save links. Todoist does this well - especially saving to specific projects their Chrome and iOS extensions. Both Todoist and Dynalist hide long mess URLs with markdown formatting
- Lack of separate start and due dates. 2Do does this well, including the ability to set start dates dynamically based on a “duration.”
- No “zoom” like Dynalist or Workflowy, allowing you to “hoist” a sub-node to the top for better focus on a part of the outline.

Thanks for your feedback! Some of the features you mentioned are on our roadmap for Taskade. You can check it out and join the discussion here: https://www.taskade.com/v/B1Q8lMxIfG
2 questions for you if you don’t mind:
- What did you think is missing or poorly executed in 2Do, Dynalist, Todoist, Workflowy that Taskade can do better at?
- What are some features or product changes you think Taskade can do differently from the above?
Best,
John from Taskade

Hi John,
I have always been very active in discussing features and giving feedback on software that I use regularly; however, since Taskade does not yet meet my needs I will refrain from getting involved in your user community for now. But I’m happy to answer your questions as best I can.
It seems to me that there is a holy grail out there of a product that can both be an outliner and a task manager, and nobody has yet managed it. Todoist is a great task manager, but a lousy outliner. Dynalist is a great outliner, but still very basic as a task manager. 2Do is an even better task manager than Todoist, but doesn’t support shared projects. I mentioned those four features because it seemed to me that if Taskade had all of them it would be one of the few products out there that can genuinely be used as both a task manager and an outliner. With any 3 of those features it might reach a threshold where I consider giving up using my dedicated apps for the convenience of having everything in a single app.

Forgot to add: Taskade also has a much nicer iOS interface than Dynalist. I don’t think they will ever fully support iOS as they seem to be a web-first company.
