Sorry to be blunt but I don’t think these multiple posts about Taskade -even though they inform us - fit the purpose of this forum.

For my part I am fine with these updates. They only take a single dedicated thread; if I’m not interested in this particular software, I can easily ignore them.
A practical benefit of developers replicating here their progress on new features (again, ideally in a single thread) is that it reinforces the reference value of the forum. For example, a search for “comments notes tasks” would ideally bring up some tools that provide all those three. From a quick look this seems indeed to work.
Bug fixes and the like may be of less interest than new features, but I understand that filtering such announcements before posting is an additional burden for the contributors, so I can live with them.

Speaking for myself, I like to see updates on from the developers. And

I like these updates. They inform us of updates (like the new, competitive AI-based lists and summaries) without spamming multiple threads.

I think MacSE is concerned about spam, and that’s quite valid. In the case of the developers who post here it seems to be more open communication than sales pitch.
If a vendor did a drive-by advertisement, that would be not so good. A vendor who will engage in dialog, that’s nice.
Park me, respectfully, in support of vendors joining the conversation.
