Thanks Dominik, I just pledged too; I’d very much want to be able to use this in Windows.

I think that this is a great way for developers to assess the market and for us users to put our money where our mouth is :-)

Looks like iA Writer could become my Ulysses replacement for Windows and iOS.

I asked them if and when they plan to add the Syntax Highlight feature to the Windows version.
Their reply: “That would be nice to have in the future. For now we’re focused on getting a solid version 1.0 out the door. If you try to cram in too much with the first step, you’ll end up with a product that doesn’t do anything particularly well.”
