I honestly thought Chronos had died, but here they are, back with a new app: NoteLife. Quite a nice encrypted notes manager for macOS/iOS, using the folders/tags principle (not unlike Keep It, ironically).

And yes, it uses subscription pricing (if you want the Pro version, which - of course - does the syncing, folders etc. etc.).
