Just discovered an interesting Australian app (for macOS, iOS and Android) that works as a kind of combination notepad plus task manager, using Markdown as its basic syntax plus a lot of tagging.
Its unusual features are the way you can turn any sentence in a note into a task by adding tags, and the three different perspectives it gives you: a time view, a priority view and a “workflow” view (again, tags control all three perspectives; obviously you can choose which approach you prefer, but always have the option to use the others).
The syncing is a bit slow (it doesn’t use iCloud, unfortunately), but otherwise it’s quite capable. And currently free, because in beta.
Some people will undoubtedly like its freestyle approach. More at scribblepost.com
Cheers!

I had tried the beta long time ago, but I see it has improved a lot since then. Still, I find it frustrating how many task managers fail to have separate start dates and due dates…
