Main new feature: Tines now preserves (and uses, where relevant) OPML metadata in the head element. Once I figured out how to use Øyvind’s old hnb XML parser code, it did the right thing as soon as I fixed typos in the code.
I’m seeing some funkiness around expansionState. Nothing fatal, just not quite working as expected, which is why the code is still in the dev branch on Github.
The other primary changes involved portability fixes. Tines should now compile and run on Cygwin (I hope to verify that later this week).
I think for my next Stupid Coding Trick, I’ll set up binary shell script installers for OSX and Linux until I get my head around the complex world of packaging.
