I think one of the rules of the game is that those of us who sign up for betas are not supposed to blab about them before the public release.
All I can say about the MyInfo beta is that it is incredibly speedy compared with the present version. But it is still a work in progress.

This thread started a year ago. The last post in this thread is ten months old. What’s the story with MyInfo?
Their latest release appears to have been TWO years ago in August of 2015.

Their last news/blog/announcement post was about Beta 7 in October of ‘16. Before that, there were several posts in 2015. Nothing at all in 2017.

No matter what is going on, “behind the scenes,” this kind of vanishing act to the public, for long periods of time, is HORRIBLE public relations/marketing.
I was looking forward to Version 7, but it sounds like it’s maybe a side-project now - or worse, a dream has died - and MyInfo is a thing of the past.
Thoughts?

Sorry, I forgot to add in my post just now one thing that really bothers me. The latest release of MyInfo is 6.35 in August of 2015 (over two years ago) and the release is discussed here:
https://blog.milenix.com/small-update-myinfo-6-35/
Yet, when you go to the download page, it says version 6.35 [4463] was “updated” (???) on May 25, 2017. Is that a real update or just fudging dates? If it’s a bug fix, etc. why isn’t it listed on the release page? If two years and a month doesn’t bring you to 6.36?

Things don’t look good. Maybe Milenix could be prompted to come here and offer a few words?

Donovan, if you were to sign up as a beta tester, you would see that MyInfo is alive and well—but obviously the developer’s energies are not mainly devoted to version 7. I too find it frustrating that small (one- or two-person?) operations like Milenix move slowly, yet I think that’s inevi

Sorry, that message flew off to the forum before I had finished typing it. What I was trying to say is it’s inevitable that tiny software outfits will proceed at a frustratingly glacial pace, but sometimes it’s worth sticking with them if you find their products solid and useful. That’s how I feel about MyInfo.
