The latest announcement by Petko on his MyInfo forum:
"Everybody who purchased MyInfo in 2016 will get the MyInfo 7 update free. Our plans are for cross-platform support, but the initial version will be the Windows client. So, at this time we are beta testing the Windows version and there is no other yet in development. After we are ready with MyInfo 7 for Windows, we will start working on Android and iOS versions.
"It will be not a SaaS solution in the beginning, but ultimately, this is our plan.
"P.S.: Everybody who owns MyInfo 6 license will be eligible for the beta soon."

This sounds great but can someone at least post some screenshots? I've been seeing the announcements for a while and the developer still hasn't shown much to the public. I am crossing my fingers that this will be hopefully a solid release.

Here's a short summary of some of the new features provided earlier by Petko on the MyInfo forum:
The list of the major changes, compared to MyInfo 6, includes:
Cross-platform, database-backed file format, which makes loading and saving your notebooks instantaneous
Multiple sections per notebook
Perspectives
Multiple attachments per note
Larger attachments (note + attachments content can now be up to 30 MB for the Standard and 100 MB for the Professional edition)
Attachment indexing (currently txt and pdf files are indexed and included when searching for notes)
HTML-based text editor, which will improve greatly MyInfo ability to retain web snippets formatting
Chromium (the open source project on which Google Chrome is based) as internal browser

Has anyone tried the beta 7 already? Is it worth the cost?

I think one of the rules of the game is that those of us who sign up for betas are not supposed to blab about them before the public release.
All I can say about the MyInfo beta is that it is incredibly speedy compared with the present version. But it is still a work in progress.

This thread started a year ago. The last post in this thread is ten months old. What's the story with MyInfo?
Their latest release appears to have been TWO years ago in August of 2015.
https://blog.milenix.com/category/releases/
Their last news/blog/announcement post was about Beta 7 in October of '16. Before that, there were several posts in 2015. Nothing at all in 2017.
https://blog.milenix.com/
No matter what is going on, "behind the scenes," this kind of vanishing act to the public, for long periods of time, is HORRIBLE public relations/marketing.
I was looking forward to Version 7, but it sounds like it's maybe a side-project now - or worse, a dream has died - and MyInfo is a thing of the past.
Thoughts?

Sorry, I forgot to add in my post just now one thing that really bothers me. The latest release of MyInfo is 6.35 in August of 2015 (over two years ago) and the release is discussed here:
https://blog.milenix.com/small-update-myinfo-6-35/
Yet, when you go to the download page, it says version 6.35 [4463] was "updated" (???) on May 25, 2017. Is that a real update or just fudging dates? If it's a bug fix, etc. why isn't it listed on the release page? If two years and a month doesn't bring you to 6.36?

Things don't look good. Maybe Milenix could be prompted to come here and offer a few words?

Donovan, if you were to sign up as a beta tester, you would see that MyInfo is alive and well -- but obviously the developer's energies are not mainly devoted to version 7. I too find it frustrating that small (one- or two-person?) operations like Milenix move slowly, yet I think that's inevi

Sorry, that message flew off to the forum before I had finished typing it. What I was trying to say is it's inevitable that tiny software outfits will proceed at a frustratingly glacial pace, but sometimes it's worth sticking with them if you find their products solid and useful. That's how I feel about MyInfo.

P.S. Still another correction: sorry about my poor typing skills this morning. I of course meant to say that Petko's energies are *now* (rather than *not*) focused on version 7.

I recall these extended periods of silence from Myinfo are not unusual. These periods have been mentioned before on this forum.
Speaking of forums, the Myinfo forum shows plenty of activity from Petko.
For me, software that is not broken should not be fixed.
