My interest in DT’s future development recently increased. In response to a post in the Devonthink forum about the use of Hazel and Automator to automate the filing of documents in the appropriate groups (or folders) in DT databases without user intervention, Christian Grunenberg of DEVONtechnologies wrote as follows: “This and many more actions will be possible in the future without Hazel, Automator or AppleScript.”
(The most boring part for me of using DT is moving all the documents you’ve recently stuffed into it out of its various inboxes and into the right groups or folders, or under the right tags.)
