Just came across this wonderful online mindmapping app - free, search for images, export and import various mindmapping files. The best bit is that you can export a html file which can be sent to someone or used to present the mindmap offline. It really is worth taking a look here: https://www.imindq.com/mind-mapping-online. Files can be stored in google drive, dropbox etc

Thanks, I took a look at it. It did three things:
- began with asking for access to a cloud system (Dropbox or Google)
- offered a tutorial mindmap that offered what struck me as a very complex and non-intuitive user interface
- sent me an email recommended a subscription - despite the the fact that the landing page said “free!”
On the whole, and although I do believe programmers should be paid, I found the initials experience a little off putting, and I probably won’t keep it.

I had the same reaction @jaslar.
Somewhat like being introduced to a casual acquaintance who immediately asks to look through one’s wallet.
The “Free” aspect is not really free—the basic version costs something like 73 euros/year.

Hi, I can’t see anywhere that quotes a price for the online app - there is a cost for the desktop apps - can you point me towards that information? I imagine that in the future they will charge for just the online option, but I can’t see that yet.
I’ve been playing around with the app these last few days. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t seem to have an auto layout feature - which means that branches sometimes overlap each other and you need to position them manually. Although the standard mindmapping keyboard shortcuts seem to work (insert, return) for adding a sibling or new branch to the map
The best aspect (for me) is the ability to download a single html file and use that to present my mindmap offline in a simple web browser - or to share that file with anyone with a web browser. I haven’t seen that before. Also, the online app has the ability to import mindmap files from other software makers, and also to export in a variety of files.

Hi,
I have been using iMindQ for some time now and I am very satisfied how it all turned out.
As I know the online application is free. It used to have subscription options, but the have decided to offer it for free. It has all the basic option a mind mapper would need. :)
The pricing is for the desktop versions, which are far more advanced than the online one and hold unique features.
