No intent to criticize you, Paul. I hope you know that. I just wanted to make sure that people understood that the reduced pace of improvements to Ulysses could be due to focus on the iPhone app. There was no other purpose to starting this thread.

There are just two more things that would, IMHO, render Ulysses the total, ultimate, Markdown editor:
- the addition of support for the GitHub task format, ideally done as elegantly as in LetterSpace (which automatically extends task lists, allows you to complete tasks with a single click in the [ ] checkbox, etc.)
- the addition of a separate tag pane (currently you can only really use tags by creating smart folders or by using filtering/searches), ideally with support for nested tags (like the very impressive 2Do)
That would make Ulysses ideal for writing, task management and pretty much anything else a text-focused person could want.
