Like a lot of Linux users, I have always liked Gedit - a clean, simple text editor. But unlike some others (Haroopad), Gedit offered spell check. Now I see it has a markdown mode, has a downloadable plugin for markdown preview, has a code folding plugin, and has a line mover. Add them all up, and it starts to look like a very handy outliner. I remember Dr. Andus played around with something - Jedit? Kedit? Has anybody tinkered with the latest Gedit?
