Marked is one of my favorite apps for OS X—a previewer for Markdown, MultiMarkdown, Fountain and other text markup, with some very good “writing analysis tools”. The author, Brett Terpstra, is blogging about updates in the forthcoming Marked 2.5

Marked plays well with Ulysses, nvAlt (also by Terpstra), Sublime Text, and almost any text editor on OSX—as well as MindNode, iThoughtsX. It’s one of those apps that you use and say to yourself “I never would have thought I needed this—but I do”.
