After a very long period of silence since they acquired the OS X personal wiki application, VoodooPad, the new owner, Plausible Labs, just came alive with a few announcements.
First, there is a new release in the pipeline (v5.1.4) that fixed numerous security vulnerabilities:

Second, in a separate email sent to licensees, Plausible hints that they are turning attention to a new release—VoodooPad 6. It’ll be interesting to see how that goes. The Mac platform could use a major refresh in the wiki space, though I wonder how large that user population is these days.

Thanks for the update, Paul. It would be great to see VoodooPad get a new lease of life.

Interesting about plans for VoodooPad 6. Can you share any further details from the email? (I have a license but I’m not on the email list.)

They didn’t say much—which is why I characterized it as a hint:

Thank you. This does at least provide a helpful glimpse of the current status of things. I’m certainly hoping to see further development in the personal wiki area.
