Here is an interesting find, It is called the O2 Project, and it uses an obect oriented approach to storing and organizing information. The project is on Sourforge.net, an Open Source software repository. It is a Windows based software application.
I will add a few links regarding it:
These are the O2 project pages, below
http://o2project.sourceforge.net/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/o2project/
And this is where I read about O2 Project
...below, this is a software blog I found, which included, O2 Project.
http://www.rgdot.com/bl/2015/01/07/o2-is-a-different-data-organizer/
Just to note, I include these links with a little bit of redundancy for those that may be trying to find
these pages in the future, where they may be aided by the WayBack Machine at Archive.org
if they will no longer be available directly. This is a good resource I have found for finding older web pages
about software applications of the past, which may no longer be available.

Be very careful about downloading anything from SourceForge, particularly from inactive projects. They were recently found to have hijacked the GIMP repositories that remained on their site after the GIMP project moved elsewhere and using them to spread malware. More generally, they have been known for some time to be wrapping installers with adware injectors.
