Interesting comment—thanks, @jimspoon.
The point she makes about “Google app[s] that could be pulled suddenly” is a good caution. Does Google Keep have “notebooks” or “collections”—or perhaps we have to save the note to Google Docs and apply a higher level or organization there.

That’s what I do, though not in Google Docs. I ‘ve started using Google Keep recently as a cross-platform note taker, but only as a way to capture notes and transfer them to the PC. Then I copy and paste them into CT and delete them. So for me it’s “Google Capture, Sync and Delete”, rather than “Google Keep.”

Ha! I’m grimly amused by the hugely improved version of Apple’s Notes app announced at WWDC. For Apple users, it will certainly give Evernote a run for its money – in fact, I suspect it will sideline Evernote more or less permanently, in view of the latter’s constraints (which I have always found very irritating - unfairly, I admit).
For multiplatform users, I suspect OneNote will still be the better bet.
