CmapTools from
http://cmap.ihmc.us
has some updates. There is now an iPad app (CmapTools), a cloud, and and update to the desktop app (new version 6) that takes advantage of the Cmap cloud for sharing maps between the iPad and desktop. The cloud is free -- the iPad app has an in-app purchase ($4.99) to activate cloud syncing. Working with the iPad app, it seems well-featured and compatible with Cmaps created on the desktop. iPad export options are limited -- as an image file -- there are more choices on the desktop. Neither the desktop nor iPad app export OPML or text.
For Mac users, the version 6 has a Java compatibility problem and will fail to open. I've found that there is an alternate launcher ("LaunchCmapTools') in the "IHMC CmapTools/bin" folder, which activates the JAR correctly.

Paul, thanks for the heads-up. I didn't realise there was an update in May 2014 as well:

It looks like they've added more controls for the node formats, and an option to not have to insert linking phrases (which was one reason I switched to VUE in the past). in any case, good to see the project is still alive.
