Plato does look interesting (judging from the screenshots). It might fit the Zettelkasten category. But the last update was 2 yrs ago, and the purchase page is still under construction, so it’s not clear if this is still being developed?

It seems I confused the software release date with another software I found this weekend (which is really quite new: http://quintexa.de/).
However, the main page of Plato was updated in April 2014, so it might still be work in progress.

Hello,
This is to let you know that Plato version 1.0 has been released and most of the website has been updated to reflect this. The purchase page will not be available for a few more days but you can download a 90 day trial from the download page.
