The Novamind mind mapping application has switched over to a subscription program, added a browser-based version, and promised an iPad version later this year. All included in the subscriptions, it seems. These subscription schemes are pricey, though there is a discount available for a subset of existing license holders -- the process is complex, so see their site.

I have used Novamind for most of its existence and have often been fond of it. The new browser version seems to be well-featured. Perhaps over featured in some respects. In Safari on iOS 8 the browser version seems to be well done.
