The program is as simple as it gets. Maybe too simple.
However it has the exclusive feature of being able to write a "back" and "front" page for a single card just like a physical card.
There's also a filter system which I wish was much simpler and had the same features as RTM's Smart Search but you need tags for that.
One thing that is a noteworthy pro or con depending on your expectations for a simple program. That is, it has templates that can't be done via a blank page.
For example, the back option disappears when you add a to-do template but then you get a checklist.
Another template replaces the "back" text with source.
It's pretty tempting to use some of the templates because they provide simple interfaces for bug tracking, requirements, contacts and recipes. You can even attach a picture to the recipes.

Wow - that's some buggy software. Crashed three times in under a minute on Windows 7 - twice when I tried to start a new file, once when I tried to view the back of the default card.

Thanks for the info. I'm on Windows 8 and it hasn't crashed but I haven't put anything on it.
