I just discovered that one can create clones in MyBase 5.4--they are called "symbolic links."

To clone an item in MyBase press the ALT key while dragging the item you wish to clone to the desired position in the outline. The item remains where it was and a clone is created as a subitem (child) in the position to which you dragged the original item. Editing the original or clone changes both.

I hace sent the vendor several suggestions including one suggesting clones as sibling items and not just subitems.
