Just saw IBM’s Lotus Notes 8 website. First time I’ve seen LN8. It looks like a major improvement over other versions, an attempt to centralize functions in a way reflecting how people work. Like IDEA, it seems you can ppull in whatever file is needed for a project. There;s contacts, skedding, edmail, and access to open source word processing. At slightly over $100 US, which should work out to about $97 Canadian, it looks like a good deal.
And an alternative to Microsoft.
Has anyone tried LN8?

Hi Daly,
Can you post a link to the LN8 site?
TIA

P.S. I haven’t tried it, though I am interested, because I have tried something else by IBM/Lotus as far as co-working goes; it’s called QuickPlace and it’s a powerful online collaboration envioronment that’s really easy to set up and operate, as long as you have a good connection (and the budget to support it). The basic system can be used for free. See http://www.mayeticvillage.com/
